This project involved adding two storey height sections to the head quarters of a fashion design retailer.

 

The original building by William Russell is a bold steel and glass clad building with internally expressed rough concrete framing. The new parts used the same construction methods in order to disguise the alterations.

 

Significant additional loads were added to the building and it was necessary to back analyse the existing structure and foundations to justify the works.
