This is the largest of William Pye's 'Coandã' series; named after Henri Coandã (the father of fluid dynamics) who was intrigued by the way fluid clings to a surface.
The form is fabricated out of 3 stainless steel elements:
1. A 0.6m diameter circular hollow section.
2. A cast stainless steel transition.
3. A 4.0m diameter pressed and spun dish.
Located in the gardens of Woolbeding House, Sussex (National Trust).
